Pickled Shallots, with Star anise 270g

These pickled shallots are marinated in crisp cider apple vinegar, delivering a bright, tangy base that enhances their natural sweetness. Infused with star anise and a blend of peppercorns and spices, they develop a gently spiced, aromatic character.
Carefully prepared to retain their firm texture, they offer a satisfying crunch with layers of flavour. The balance of sweetness, acidity, and warm spice creates a refined pickle with depth and brightness, offering a distinctive and elegant twist on a traditional favourite.

Shallots (50%), apple cider vinegar, mustard seeds, brown sugar, star anise, black pepper, coriander seeds. Our award-winning preserves are handmade in a kitchen rated 5/5 for hygiene – but it’s a busy place where nuts and other allergens are used. Jars are best refrigerated once opened.

Serve with cheese boards, especially cheddar or blue cheese, or alongside cold cuts and charcuterie. They’re also excellent in salads or sandwiches, adding a crisp, tangy bite with a subtle aromatic warmth.
